Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities and actively plan and lead developmental, recreational, and devotional programs, including Sunday Chapel accompaniment. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, ensuring a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social development. This two-person role requires married couples (aged 27+) to work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning eventually to a Placed Houseparent position with a dedicated student home.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
