Job Summary
Houseparents, Full-Time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes, provide daily supervision and mentorship for 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine-on/three-off to a placed houseparent role. Requires a two-person married couple, both aged 27+, with high school diploma or GED, willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA, and share responsibilities including safeguarding student welfare in a structured, family-like environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse role required for consideration
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
