Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with an initial nine-on, three-off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role; requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and age 27+ for both spouses; relocation provided to Hershey, PA; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, paid training, and paid time off; relocation assistance is provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse team must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience with youth preferred
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proficiency in leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Capacity to supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students
