Job Summary
Houseparents (full-time, two-person couple) reside on campus in student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule, then transitions to a placed houseparent living-and-working arrangement with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
