Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person role for married couples) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on / three-days-off cycle; the role transitions to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students in their own home, relocation provided to Hershey, PA with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services
- Two-person role for couples
- On-campus housing in Hershey, PA
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
