Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents for on-campus student homes. Responsibilities include providing daily supervision and mentorship to groups of 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; pathway to Placed Houseparent where the same students are in one home. Requires married partners, at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, valid driver’s license, and high school diploma or GED. Relocation assistance provided and comprehensive benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
