Job Summary
Two-person full-time Houseparents role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Initially working nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a consistent student home. Requires a legally married couple (both spouses) to complete individual applications, and relocation to the campus with on-site housing benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse dependency for application
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
