Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents living on-campus supervise and mentor groups of 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from a nine-on/three-off cycle to a Placed Houseparent role. Relocation assistance provided; benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement, paid time off, and training. Requires experience with youth, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with limited dependent children.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- On-campus residence and residential caregiving experience preferred
