Job Summary
Married couples live on campus in Laguna Woods, CA to serve as Flex Houseparents, supervising 8–13 students in on-campus student homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Compensation includes $46,917 per person (approx. $180,000 total per couple) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
