Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role (Full-Time Flex Houseparents) residing on campus to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and participate in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from flexible to placed houseparent. The role emphasizes a structured, family-like environment that supports students’ academic, emotional, and social development, with a nine-on/two-off cycle initially and relocation to a fixed student home over time.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Willingness to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading student devotions and chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Experience with youth (working or volunteering)
