Job Summary
Houseparents, Full-Time, married couples needed to live and work on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and follow a nine-on/three-off duty cycle before transitioning to a placed houseparent role. Relocation assistance provided. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and must be legally married for at least two years with both spouses aged 27 or older. Per-person salary is $44,768 with total compensation around $168,000 per couple; includes housing and benefits. Two-person, on-campus position with benefits and training.” ,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Proven integrity and professionalism; model behavior for students
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA and work on-campus in a two-person household role
- Desire to lead students in daily devotions and chapel services
- Must complete individual employment applications
