Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparent roles at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision and mentorship for groups of 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same student group. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA and participation in comprehensive benefits and training; benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
