Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and following a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role residing with the same group of students. Requires a married couple with at least two years of marriage, both spouses 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; includes comprehensive benefits and on-campus housing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Complete individual employment applications for both spouses
