Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in a student home to supervise and mentor approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and support a transition from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a fixed placed houseparent assignment. Requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free/weapon-free campus; relocation assistance and paid training are provided; compensation is $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 per couple) including housing and meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Two-year married status for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to manage medications and supervise youth
- Experience working with youth/volunteer work with youth
- Desire to live in on-campus housing and work in a student home
- Willingness to follow nine-on / three-off scheduling initially; transition to placed houseparent
