Job Summary
Two-person married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing on-campus in a student home in Hershey, PA. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship for approximately 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially following a nine-on / three-off duty schedule, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Chapel
