Job Summary
Two-person Flex Houseparent team residing on campus to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students in a family-like living environment. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, conducting daily devotions and Chapel visits, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from initial duty in multiple student homes to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. The role operates on a nine days-on / three days-off cycle and requires a strong commitment to student well-being, safety, and faith-based activities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Chapel services
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA on-campus housing
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty

- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
