Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live on-campus in student homes to provide supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and initially working nine days on with three days off before transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person of $44,768 (with total couple compensation around $168,000), comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse (married) status for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Two-person role must both apply individually
