Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside on campus to supervise and support a group of 8–13 students in on-site homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring wellness, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a consistent student-home assignment. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; relocation to Hershey, PA is part of the role, with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
