Job Summary
Flex Houseparents needed at Milton Hershey School to reside in on-campus student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and may transition to a Placed Houseparent position living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement with both completing applications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
