Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in on-campus homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, driving to activities, planning and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with an initial nine-on/two-off cycle and eventual placement as a dedicated Houseparent; relocation to Hershey, PA required; both spouses must apply individually and meet age and background requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married status (legally married for at least two years)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Unable to have more than three dependent children reside in the student home
