Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. They manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role evolves from a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a placed houseparent assignment, living with the same student group in their home. Requires a two-person, legally married couple, both aged 27+, to reside on campus, with relocation to Hershey, PA or Mayfield, KY as needed; includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year legal marriage
- Spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to complete individual employment applications
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for legally married couples
- Must be willing to live on campus in Mayfield, KY or Hershey, PA as required
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
