Job Summary
Conduct daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for a group of 8–13 students in an on-campus home. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services. Plan developmental and recreational activities while overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Upon hire, support various student homes with a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off. Transition into a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, age 27 or older, and hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
