Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent positions for married couples living on campus to care for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel services, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role involves an initial schedule of nine days on duty followed by three days off, with a transition to a placed houseparent living in a dedicated student home. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA, and offers relocation assistance; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement options, paid time off, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to lead students in daily devotions and Chapel services
