Job Summary
Two-person, Full-Time Flex Houseparent role on a college-style campus living in on-site student homes to supervise 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required, with on-site housing, meals during duty, utilities, and comprehensive benefits; relocation assistance and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
