Job Summary
Houseparents, Full-Time Flex Houseparents for two-person, married-couple team living in on-campus student homes. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting household activities, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off schedules to a placed houseparent role. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus. Relocation assistance provided; on-site housing and meals included during duty periods; total compensation per couple approximately $168,000 with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse collaboration for the role
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to obtain driver’s license and certify to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Experience with youth preferred
