Job Summary
Two-person, Full-Time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School for a legally married couple (at least two years) located on campus in Hershey, PA. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmentally-focused activities and daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits provided; requires both spouses to complete individual applications and meet age and licensing requirements. On-campus housing and meals provided during duty, with a strong emphasis on safety, spirituality, and student well-being.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
