Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents role at Milton Hershey School. The couple resides on campus and provides care, supervision, and mentorship to a group of ~8–13 students, including daily supervision, household routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and planning/developmental activities. Responsibilities include leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and aiding students’ academic, emotional, and social growth. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single housepair with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; benefits include health insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
