Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-Time) for Milton Hershey School: married couples live on-campus in student homes, providing care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising, mentoring, managing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting/reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA and comprehensive benefits with relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
