Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes and provide supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, guiding daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role progresses from supporting multiple homes on a nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle to a Placed Houseparent in a single student home. Relocation assistance is provided, and compensation per person is $46,917 (approximately $180,000 total for a couple) with comprehensive benefits and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two-person couple must apply together
- Married for at least two years per spouse
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Commitment to chores and child welfare responsibilities
