Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, schedules, and budgets. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions and recreational engagements. Follow a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Maintain a smoke-free, weapon-free environment with no alcohol permitted on duty. Both spouses must complete individual applications, hold a valid driver's license, and meet age and experience requirements for this full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
