Job Summary
Houseparents, Full-Time Flex Houseparents—two-person, married-couple roles at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for ~8–13 students, manage routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a placed houseparent arrangement living with the same student group. Salary $46,917 per person (approx. $180,000 total per couple with housing and benefits), relocation assistance and paid training provided, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse couples must complete individual applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working with youth
- Two-year marriage minimum for both spouses
- Residence in same student home with the group of 8–13 students
