Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus to supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, establishing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and rotating a nine-on/three-off duty schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent in a consistent student home. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must complete individual applications. The role includes comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
