Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in a student-home setting and provide care, guidance, supervision, and activities for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines management, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, daily devotions and chapel attendance, budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-on/three-off schedule across multiple homes, with eventual placement as a dedicated Houseparent living with the same student group. Successful candidates must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, and able to meet the listed eligibility requirements and drive-student transportation. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse two-person role
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-year minimum marriage requirement (legally married for at least two years)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Full-time on-campus housing and supervision duties
