Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed as Full-Time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School. The role provides daily supervision, mentorship, and supervision of household routines for a group of approx. 8–13 students, including administering medications, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle before transitioning to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse employment applications completed individually
- Valid U.S. driver’s license or ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel services
- Two-year marriage minimum for couples
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Ability to reside on-campus in student homes
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
