Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-Time) are a two-person, married-couple role stationed on campus in Elizabethtown, PA, overseeing a home with 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and coordinating budgeting and reporting. The role evolves from Flex Houseparents to Placed Houseparents, with a nine days-on, three days-off cycle, on-campus housing, meals on duty, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance. Both spouses must be age 27 or older, be legally married for at least two years, and complete individual applications. High school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; compliance with campus conduct and religious-services requirements.
