Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in a student home, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of about 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent arrangement with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided, and the role requires a two-person married couple who will reside on campus and work as a cohesive pair.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
