Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for married couples residing on campus to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and report on budgeting and household affairs. The role involves a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle initially, with potential transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home. The position includes relocation to Hershey, PA, with benefits and paid relocation training, and requires on-campus living with a strong emphasis on safety, integrity, and Judaeo-Christian chapel participation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
