Houseparents, Full-Time - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

Houseparents for Milton Hershey School are a two-person, full-time on-campus role (Flex Houseparents) living in student homes in Hershey, PA. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and reporting on household matters. The role transitions from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off to a placed Houseparent position living with the same student group. Compensation is $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple when including housing, meals, utilities, and benefits). Relocation assistance and paid training are provided along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSAs/FSAs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings, and PTO. Qualifications include youth-related experience, a two-spouse marriage of at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, up to three dependent children in the home, smoke-free and weapon-free campus expectations, a clean driving record with a valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans, comfort with leading devotions and chapel services, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Both spouses must complete individual applications.
