Job Summary
Houseparents provide care, supervision, and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. The two-person, married-couple role includes daily supervision, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and reporting. The role involves nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a consistent student home. This full-time position includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement
- Both spouses must apply individually
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Relocation to Hershey PA
