Job Summary
Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging students in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparents to a placed Houseparent with a consistent student-home assignment. The role is a full-time, two-person position for legally married couples, with relocation assistance provided. Compensation is $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple), plus comprehensive benefits and on-campus housing meals. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. drivers license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
