Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-Time Flex Houseparents needed to reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School. Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Responsibilities include budgeting and household reporting, with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role with continued residence in a student home. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement for employment consideration
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Possession of or ability to obtain necessary certifications for supervising students
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Two-person role for couples
- Acceptance of religious activities (devotions and Sunday Chapel) as part of duties
