Job Summary
Two-person married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School, provide supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of ~8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule; eventually transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students in their home. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for married couples
- Full-time on-campus Home/Houseparent duties
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel attendance
- Relocation to Hershey, PA (on-campus housing provided)
- No alcohol on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Experience or volunteer work with youth
- Commitment to family-like environment and student development
