Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus Houseparents position for married couples responsible for supervising and mentoring 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading development and religious activities (daily devotions and Sunday Chapel), overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a fixed student-home assignment. Requires living on campus, working as a pair, maintaining a smoke- and weapon-free environment, and meeting a high school diploma or GED requirement with a valid driver’s license. Relocation assistance is provided, along with comprehensive benefits. Both spouses must complete individual applications to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement for application
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Both spouses at least 27 years old
