Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-Time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Live on campus in student homes and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living in the same student home. Relocation to Hershey, PA provided; benefits include comprehensive insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse role requires both spouses to complete individual employment applications
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- On-campus living arrangement for both spouses (residency in student homes)
- Relocation to Hershey, PA provided, including paid training and benefits
