Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-Time) for Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, including medication administration, transportation to activities, scheduling, devotional activities, budgeting, and reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed Houseparent. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Sunday Chapel
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
