Job Summary
Houseparents, Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes to provide care, supervision, and guidance for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and budgeting/household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule and may transition to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a legally married two-person couple, both spouses 27+, and relocation to Hershey, PA with relocation assistance provided. Salary is $46,917 per person (~$180k total per couple) plus comprehensive benefits, housing, meals on duty, and other perks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
