Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparents (married couples) will reside in on-campus student homes in Irvine, CA, providing supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students, including daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, planning and leading developmental activities, daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule and later transitions to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students; relocation to Hershey, PA is required. Requires a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED. Comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for legally married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Desire to reside in on-campus student homes with supervision of 8–13 students
