Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students. They manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and transition from a nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle to the placed houseparent role with consistency in a single student home. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with youth, a legally married couple for at least two years (both spouses at least 27), a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol while on duty. Comprehensive relocation assistance and benefits are provided. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse, two-year marriage minimum requirement
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
- Willingness to complete individual employment applications by both spouses
- Relocation assistance provided
