Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-Time) for Milton Hershey School, serving as a two-person couple living in on-campus student homes ( Belmont, CA or Hershey, PA ). Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning Devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and engaging in developmental/recreational activities. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and for both spouses to be legally married for at least two years and age 27 or older. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; salary is approximately $46,917 per person ($180k total per couple including housing/ meals/ utilities). Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans

- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
