Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents provide care, supervision, and guidance for groups of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and managing household budgeting and reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and may transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same students in their home. Compensation includes an annual per-person salary with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role model for students
